KUCHING: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) has announced the election of 16 members to the Supreme Council of its Bumiputera Wing and 14 members to the Supreme Council of its Pesaka Wing for the 2025-2028 term.
PBB election committee chairman Datuk Awang Bemee Awang Ali Basah made the announcement during the party’s 16th Triennial General Meeting at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) today (Feb 16).
Premier and PBB president Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg was also present to witness the official announcement.
In the Bumiputera Wing, Tanjong Manis MP Yusuf Abdul Wahab secured the highest number of votes with 1,008, followed by Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Port Development (Infrastructure Development) Datuk Aidel Lariwoo with 998 votes, and Balingian assemblyman Abdul Yakub Arbi with 995 votes.

Meanwhile, in the Pesaka Wing, Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Native Customs and Laws) Datuk Jefferson Jamit Unyat received the highest number of votes at 1,029, followed by Katibas assemblyman Lidam Assan with 1,015 votes and Bukit Semuja assemblyman John Ilus with 993 votes.
