KUCHING: In the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, the Religious Bureau Committee of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Satok continued its Jelajah Ramadan and Ihsan Ramadan 2025 programme at the Nurul Islam Surau, Kampung Nombor Lima here.
At the event held on Saturday night, Satok assemblyman, Datuk Ibrahim Baki, presented donations to 15 asnaf (needy) from the Kampung Nombor 5 community.
Ibrahim expressed hope that the contributions would help ease the burden of those in need throughout the holy month.
The initiative is part of his annual efforts to support the less fortunate while also fostering closer ties with the local community.
Later, Ibrahim also handed over a contribution to the surau’s acting chairman, Osman Kader, in support of the surau’s activities during Ramadan.
