KUCHING: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) machinery has been urged to further intensify party activities next year.
PBB Secretary-General Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi said the reminder was conveyed by party president and Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.
“Following (Abang Johari’s) reminder, we in the secretariat will be submitting several proposed activity lists for next year,” he told a press conference after attending the PBB Supreme Council Meeting chaired by Abang Johari at the party’s headquarters here today (Nov 22).
Nanta, who is also the Works Minister, said that today’s meeting was the final PBB Supreme Council session for the year 2025.
“This is our last meeting for 2025 because according to our party constitution, we are required to hold four supreme council meetings in a year.
“We also presented the party’s membership numbers up to the end of 2025 and reviewed the programmes carried out throughout the year, including various initiatives involving the party’s direct participation,” he said.
He added that the PBB Youth Wing will hold a dinner event tomorrow (Nov 23) to raise funds for its activities in 2026.
