PBB unveils full Supreme Council lineup after February convention

KUCHING: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) has unveiled its full Supreme Council lineup following its party convention held in February.

Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg continues to serve as Party President, with Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas and Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan retaining their roles as Deputy Presidents.

Announcing the new lineup during the Pre-DUN Meeting and the PBB Supreme Council Meeting 2025, Abang Johari said this marked the first official meeting of the newly formed Supreme Council.

“This is the first Supreme Council meeting following our recent PBB Convention, where several members were elected to the council.

“On behalf of the elected members, I thank all PBB members across Sarawak for the trust given to us to continue leading the party and serving Sarawak, always putting Sarawak first, while also contributing to the development of Malaysia as a whole,” he said during a press conference at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) on Saturday.

The Senior Vice-Presidents are Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof and Datuk Seri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom.

Vice-Presidents include Datuk Seri Roland Sagah Wee Inn, Datuk Ibrahim Baki, Datuk Seri Julaihi Narawi, Datuk Gerawat Gala, Datuk Dr Annuar Rapaee, Datuk Gerald Rentap Jabu, Datuk Len Talif Salleh, Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah, and Datuk Martin Ben.

Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nasar remains the party’s Permanent Chairman.

Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi retains his role as Secretary-General, assisted by Datuk Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman.

Additionally, five individuals have been appointed as Assistant Secretaries-General.

Representing the Bumiputera wing are Datuk Hasbi Habibollah, Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali, and Datuk Hamzah Brahim, while the Pesaka wing is represented by Miro Simuh and Maurice Joannes Giri.

Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi has been appointed as Treasurer, with Datuk Dr Ripin Lamat serving as Assistant Treasurer.

Meanwhile, Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah takes on the role of Publicity Chief, assisted by Datuk Dr Philip Raja.

The elected Supreme Council members include Datuk Jefferson Jamit Unyat, Yusuf Abdul Wahab, Lidam Assan, Datuk Aidel Lariwoo, Abdul Yakub Arbi, John Ilus, Mohamad Duri, Senator Michael Mujah Lihan, Safiee Ahmad, Datuk Dr Richard Rapu, Datuk Abdullah Saidol, Datuk Ricky @ Mohd Razi Sitam, Awla Dris, Dr Simon Sinang Bada, Razaili Gapor, Datuk Willie Mongin, Datuk Haidar Khan Asghar Khan, Datuk Daniel Jubang Kanyan, Senator Datuk Ahmad Datuk Seri Ibrahim, Datuk Paulus Gumbang, Iskandar Turkee, Awangku Jainal Abedin Dato Pengiran Jawa, Datuk Dr Jerip Susil, Datuk Dennis Ngau, Datuk Henry Sum Agong, Sulhie Salleh, Syed Hamzah Datuk Sri Wan Hamid Edruce, Julaihi Mohamad, Leonard Jambu, and Jawan Nyaun.

In addition to these elected members, 20 individuals were appointed to the Supreme Council.

From the Bumiputera Wing:
Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail, Datuk Idris Buang, Datuk Lukanisman Awang Sauni, Ahmad Johnie Zawawi, Datuk Dr Hazland Abang Hipni, Datuk Dr Juanda Jaya, Azizul Annuar Adenan, Datuk Seri Naroden Majais, and Dr Dayang Nurfizawati Abang Abdul Karim.

From the Pesaka Wing:
Tan Sri William Mawan Ikom, Datuk Dr Nuing Jeluing, Paulus Dandee Banyang, Romeo Christopher Tegong, Lesley Luyoh Akah, Wejok Tomik, Jampi Tutong, Fred Entau, Barnabas Kulor Kaoz Djunior, Patrict Miden, and Adison Langgar Injan.

Following recent amendments to the party constitution, the council now also includes representatives from both the Women’s and Youth Wings.

Women’s Wing Representatives:
Datin Seri Angelina Ujang, Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, Umang Nangku Jabu, Datuk Rubiah Wang, and Dayang Noorazah Awang Sohor.

Youth Wing Representatives:
Anderson Lah, Sufian Mohat, Martin Ngindang Richard Mullok, Afiq Fikri Brahim, and Lyokarto Sikong.

Additionally, Senator Datuk Awang Bemee Awang Ali Basah has been appointed as the party’s Legal Adviser.

Abang Johari said the new leadership lineup represents a blend of experienced veterans and fresh faces.

“We are constantly nurturing young leaders to eventually take over key roles in the future.

“Leadership development is essential, especially as we face new political and socio-economic challenges,” he said.

He stressed that a successful party must combine experience with younger members to ensure PBB remains relevant now and in the future.
