MUKAH: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Balingian youth wing organised a community programme at Kampung Penakub Ulu here last Sunday (Aug 2).
Community leader Jefri Musa said it involved the repair of a wooden house occupied by Zaimah Rapli and her four children.
According to him, the scope of work included demolishing the aging walls of the toilet and rebuilding it.
“Some concerned villagers including the youth took part in the gotong-royong work,” he said.
He added that Zaimah’s husband, who is a fisherman, is in Miri for work.
PBB Balingian youth chief Aidil Mohamad also attended the event.
