KUCHING: The Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) and Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) are set to unite at the Grand Unity Night, taking place on Aug 19 at Kingwood Hotel in Sibu.

The dinner event, organised by PDP president Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing, will witness the presence of leaders and members from both parties, representing all corners of Sarawak.

The collaboration between PDP and PSB gained momentum after the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on July 13.

Since then, they have initiated a series of joint efforts aimed at deepening mutual understanding and fostering closer working relationships.

“Last week, PSB vice-president Dr Johnical Rayong Ngipa was invited to a grand function held in the constituency of PDP senior vice-president Rolland Duat Jubin, who is also the Meluan assemblyman.
“Similarly, Rolland Duat and PDP vice-president Friday Belik were invited to a significant gathering hosted by Dr Rayong in his constituency,” as per a statement on Wednesday (Aug 2).
