JOHOR BAHRU: Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) has once again demonstrated its commitment to the smart city agenda.
It was announced as the winner of the Best Smart City Initiative (Open Category – Government Agency) at the Johor Smart City Awards 2025 held on Sept 23 here.

“The prestigious award is part of the Johor Smart City Forum 2025, which took place from Sept 22 to 24,”it said in a press statement on Wednesday (Sept 24).
The forum brought together government agencies, private sector players, technology experts, and industry professionals from across the country.
