KUCHING: MTT Shipping Sdn Bhd collaborated with charity non-governmental organisation (NGO) Hope Place Kuching recently.

Hope Place said MTT Shipping, based in Peninsular Malaysia, decided to spread its charity work here.

“We received 200 sets of food aid from the company that will be distributed to underprivileged communities in Kuching.

“Each set is worth RM100 and comprised items such as rice, cooking oil, instant noodles, canned food and malt drinks as well as hygiene products like bath gel, shampoo and face mask,” Hope Place said on Wednesday (Feb 9).

“Our ‘Charity Without Borders’ to help longhouses in Telang Usan received a sponsorship comprising biscuits and instant noodles worth RM13,000 from MTT Shipping.

“We are immensely grateful to MTT Shipping for its dedication and compassion in helping the underprivileged communities here.”
