KUCHING: Perdana Petroleum Bhd (PPB) has secured contracts to lease two anchor handling tug and supply (AHTS) vessels to Dialog Resources Sdn Bhd.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, PPB said its wholly owned subsidiary, Perdana Nautika Sdn Bhd, received two letters of award for the charter of the vessels for 153 days, commencing tentatively from April 1, 2026, or upon handover from the first charterer, SK Earthon Co Ltd, under a joint-tender arrangement. The contracts will expire on Aug 30, 2026.
“The estimated contract value cannot be determined at this time as it will vary based on the work orders issued by the charterer throughout the duration of the contracts.
“PNSB shall provide the vessels with crew and equipment to perform a continuous 24-hour service for the purpose of assisting and/or servicing drilling rigs, offshore installations, derrick barges, towing and anchor job,” PPB said.
The group said the contracts are expected to contribute positively to earnings and net assets for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026.
Separately, B.I.G. Industries Bhd (BIG) received about RM1.69 million from the disposal of land and buildings in the Federal Territory of Labuan.
Its wholly owned subsidiary, B.I.G. Industrial Gas Sdn Bhd, sold the property at Kampung Durian Tunjong off Jalan Pohon Batu to Hyperwave Systems Engineering Sdn Bhd after ceasing loss-making industrial gas operations there in October last year. The proceeds will be used for BIG’s Samalaju Industrial Park branch.
BIGG is involved in the manufacturing, distribution and marketing of liquefied or compressed industrial and medical gases, as well as related services and trading activities.
