“Congratulations to UiTM students and the participants. This is a historic moment as we meet the young generation who will represent the state government, federal government, and the community in leading Malaysia.

“Study diligently, learn wisely, uphold good character, values, and knowledge, and use that knowledge to serve our nation and families,” she said.

Sharifah stated this when officiating the PERKIM Cakna 2025 Together with UiTM Community Service programme closing ceremony held for the first time at the Pusat Aktiviti Warga Emas (PAWE) Kuching here yesterday (Nov 22).

A total of 42 participants, consisting of orphans, asnaf (underprivileged), and children from low-income families aged between 13 and 16, were assisted and received stationery, notebooks, and saving jars through the programme.
