KUCHING: A total of 30 Kuching picklers came together to celebrate Malaysia Day 2025.

On the afternoon of Sept 16, in the true spirit of unity and celebration, 30 pickleball enthusiasts gathered at PicklePro Kuching in Tabuan Laru to play their hearts out — through the game that continues to bring them together: pickleball.

“This Malaysia Day, we didn’t just play, we connected. Pickleball continues to be a platform where people from all walks of life unite in a positive, healthy environment,” said The Sunday Pickleball Club in a statement.

Promoting sportsmanship, respect, and community spirit, the club noted that Kuching picklers are proud to do their part in breaking social barriers through sport.

The club also extended an open invitation to pickleball lovers to join future games and activities.

“Here’s to more rallies, more laughs, and more unity on and off the court,” the statement added.

The club earned its name from its long-standing tradition of playing every Sunday — a routine that has made it a familiar and welcoming fixture in Kuching’s pickleball scene.
