KUCHING: The Satok Veteran Pickleball Closed Cup 2024, organised by Ranting Muhibbah PBB N8 Satok and DeOldboys Picklers, concluded with thrilling matches at the KSK Satok Pickleball Court.
This highly anticipated event saw an intense competition, with veteran players showcasing their skills across multiple brackets.
Winner Bracket Champions – in a grouping final, Maggi Ng and Lydia triumphed to claim the top spot, walking away with RM500, a trophy, and medals.
Their impeccable teamwork and strategy secured them the coveted championship title.
The second place went to Zukrie and Malek Pawi, who earned RM300 and medals for their strong performance.
Meanwhile, Sudirman and Alex claimed third place, receiving RM200 and medals.
Rounding out the top four were Zaidi Bujang and Abdur Rahim, who took home RM100 and medals.
In the Loser Bracket Champion, Saperi Rambli and Fuad Saperi emerged victorious, earning RM50 and medals for their efforts.
Shamsuri and Lucian finished in second place, receiving medals for their spirited play.
The closing ceremony featured a special prize-giving moment, witnessed by Ranting Muhibbah chief Ali Sujang and Ashikin, Saberkas Satok secretary, who congratulated the players and praised the high level of competitive play.
