SARIKEI: A pile of clothes caught fire in an incident at the Rumah Lenja, Kerubong, Sare along Jalan Selalang today.
According to reports by the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), they received a distress call at 12.05 pm which prompted a team from Sarikei station to be dispatched to the scene.
Upon arriving, they reported that the fire involved a pile of clothes in a room and did not affect the structural integrity of the house.
The fire was successfully extinguished by the homeowner using two units of fire extinguishers.
