KUCHING: Reservoir Link Energy Bhd (RLEB) has priced a new tranche of its private placement at 26.2 sen per share, up from 25.7 sen for the previous tranche issued earlier this month.
The latest price is a 9.93 per cent discount to the 5-day volume-weighted average market price (VWAP) of 29.09 sen per share up to Aug 20, 2026, RLEB said in a Bursa Malaysia filing.
The company previously issued 2 million placement shares at 25.7 sen each on Aug 18.
RLEB’s overall private placement involves up to about 38.11 million new shares, equivalent to about 10 per cent of its total issued shares.
At an indicative issue price of 21 sen per share, the exercise could raise about RM8 million in gross proceeds to fund recently secured oil and gas projects.
Among them is third-party subsurface review and technical assurance work for Hibiscus Oil & Gas Malaysia Limited in relation to the PM3 CAA carbon capture and storage project.
RLEB has also secured a work order from Roc Oil (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd covering perforation and related well continuity services at the D35, D21 and J4 oil fields. The panel contractor arrangement runs until 2029.
Meanwhile, Zecon Bhd’s group net loss widened to about RM6.1 million in the second quarter ended June 30, 2026 (2Q2026) from RM2.49 million a year ago as revenue remained virtually flat.
Quarterly revenue stood at RM16.03 million compared with RM16.06 million previously, while loss per share increased to 4.09 sen from 1.69 sen.
The group’s pre-tax loss widened to RM3.84 million from RM1.48 million, mainly due to one-off final claims from a subcontractor for the UKM Children Specialist Hospital (HPKK) project in Peninsular Malaysia.
Zecon said the HPKK operation continued to generate consistent revenue during the quarter.
For 1H2026, the group’s net loss rose to RM7.16 million from RM1.56 million a year earlier, despite revenue holding steady at RM31.1 million against RM31.2 million.
Zecon said the HPKK concession remains its main revenue contributor and continues to provide predictable and stable cash flow.
It also remains positive about its prospects, supported by a large-scale solar project at Kota Petra Green Technology Park here.
The project, backed by a 30-year power purchase agreement with Syarikat SESCO Bhd, is expected to provide the group with long-term revenue stability.
