KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, said that an announcement of appreciation for Malaysians, to be made tomorrow, reflects the MADANI Government’s concern for the people who have consistently supported its reform initiatives.
“May this announcement benefit the widest possible group of people and reflect our collective efforts to build a more just and prosperous future,” he said in a social media post.
Earlier today, Communications Minister, Datuk Fahmi Fadzil also shared that the Prime Minister will make an announcement on a special gesture of appreciation for all Malaysians, tomorrow morning.
Anwar, while speaking at the Prime Minister’s Department (JPM) monthly assembly in Putrajaya, yesterday, said that an extraordinary gesture of appreciation for the people would be announced today or tomorrow (Wednesday).
However, he did not provide any details on the nature of the appreciation to be announced.
Meanwhile, according to an infographic shared by Anwar, the announcement is scheduled for tomorrow at 10.30 am, and will be broadcast live on all major channels, including RTM, TV3, Astro Awani, Bernama TV and TVS, as well as on social media platforms such as Facebook Live. – BERNAMA
