KUCHING: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim arrived safely at Kuching International Airport today to attend the 2025 State-Level Gawai Dayak Dinner, held at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK).

He landed at approximately 4:28 pm aboard a special aircraft and was warmly received by the Premier of Sarawak, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.
Also present to welcome the Prime Minister were Deputy Premiers, Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, and Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian.
The Gawai Dayak Dinner is the highlight of the state-level Gawai celebration in Sarawak.
Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, is expected to attend, along with Abang Johari himself.

The Prime Minister’s presence at the event underscores the Federal Government’s ongoing commitment to embracing Malaysia’s cultural diversity and strengthening the close ties between the Federal and Sarawak State Governments in the spirit of the Keluarga Malaysia.
