KUCHING: Team Podium Project Ace continues its winning streak by capturing its second championship title of the year at the recently concluded Bellevue Pickleball Tournament 2025, held over Friday (July 25) to Sunday (July 27).
The team overcame Team Clatech, a squad made up of top players from Sibu and Miri, in a thrilling final to secure the coveted Team Event title.

This victory comes just weeks after the team’s earlier triumph at the WTK Pickleball Tournament in Sibu in June.
Under the banner of The Podium Project, both Team Podium Project Ace and its sister team Podium Project were sent to compete. Notably, both teams met in the quarterfinals.
Team Podium Project Ace fielded eight players from Kuching and one from Miri, namely Izzul Aizuddin, Eugenia Sulan David, Myra Arisa, Adam Ashraf, Hanif Pauzi, Alvin Lu, Jason Wong, Mark Leong and Alvin Isaac.
Their strong showing earned them four out of five possible titles, including the Team Event. Izzul won the Men’s Singles, Eugenia and Myra took the Women’s Doubles, while Izzul and Eugenia teamed up to win the Mixed Doubles.
The Podium Project director Emmanuel David expressed deep pride in the team’s achievement and extended gratitude to those who helped make it possible.
“This win is the result of sheer hard work, discipline, and belief in each other. It’s more than just winning titles — it’s about building a platform for our athletes to grow and shine.
“I’m incredibly proud of everyone involved, and I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our sponsors for their continuous support. They’ve played a key role in helping us make this journey possible,” he told Sarawak Tribune recently.
