Police, family seek public help to locate missing woman

KUCHING: Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a 24-year-old woman, who has been reported missing after leaving her home in Tabuan Laru last Saturday (Oct 25).

Kuching police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu said Marianna Liew Ai Jia, who works as a sales assistant, was last seen driving a grey Nissan Grand Livina bearing the license plate QAS9590.

“She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and a black skirt at around 3.30pm.

“Police are conducting efforts to trace her whereabouts,” he said in a statement today.

Members of the public with information on her whereabouts, are urged to contact Tabuan Jaya police station chief Sub-Insp Richard Sanut at 017-8505555 or Kuching police control centre at 082-244444.

Marianna’s older sister, Ida Liew, also made an appeal on Facebook, pleading for anyone with information to come forward.

“Please, if anyone has seen her or come across her car somewhere, provide us with information.

“Can contact me at 013-8109590 or 013-4477420 (Stan). Please help, really, we just want her safely home,” she wrote.
