Police nab six foreign nationals in Jalan Stutong vice raid

KUCHING: Police arrested six foreign nationals suspected of being involved in prostitution activities during a raid at a house along Jalan Stutong here on Friday (Feb 20).

Kuching police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu said the individuals, aged between 30 and 40, were detained during the operations.

“All six have been arrested to assist in investigations,” he said in a statement.

The case is being investigated under Section 372B of the Penal Code, Regulation 39(b) of the Immigration Regulations 1963, and Section 6(1)(c) of the Immigration Act 1959/63.

Alexson urged members of the public with information on prostitution activities to contact the Kuching district police control centre at 082-244444.
