MUKAH: A 15-year-old girl has been reported missing since morning (Mar 31), prompting police to appeal for public assistance in tracing her whereabouts.
Mukah police chief DSP Muhamad Rizal Alias said the missing person, identified as Angel Daina, was last seen at her home in Jalan Tiong Hua before her disappearance was discovered by her mother at about 5 am.
“The teenager, aged 15 years and five months, is of Melanau ethnicity and resides at No 9, Lot 1166, Jalan Tiong Hua.
“At the time of her disappearance, Angel was believed to be wearing a pink short-sleeved T-shirt and black long pants.
“She is described as slim, approximately 155cm tall, with fair skin, an oval face and long hair extending past her shoulders,” he said in a statement.
He added that initial checks by family members around the house area failed to locate her, while attempts to contact her via mobile phone were also unsuccessful.
“We urge members of the public with any information on the teenager’s whereabouts to come forward immediately,” he said.
