BINTULU: Police here are looking for a man named Tengku Nasrul Haizal Mohd Nasir believed to be involved in a rape case which was reported late last month.
Bintulu police chief Supt Batholomew Umpit said the suspect is a 33-year-old civil servant from Tumpat, Kelantan.
“The suspect is a civil servant wanted to facilitate investigations into a rape case reported on July 29 in Bintulu.
“Those who have information regarding the suspect, can contact the investigating officer Insp Nurikman Hadi at 019-3517155.
“They can also channel the information to the Bintulu police operation room at 086-318304,” he said.
The case is being investigated under Section 376 of the Penal
