KUCHING: A manageress of a company at Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi Edruse lodged a report that burglars had broken into her office and stolen a safe deposit box, mobile phones and personal dcouments including cash of RM200
The victim said she went to the office at about 10 am on Wednesday and found that thieves broke into the office through a window. Her office was on the third floor.
In another separate case on Thursday morning a businesswoman said her office at Lumba Kuda was broken into and among other items stolen was cash amounting to RM2,500. Theives also broke office equipments.
And on Wednesday at 8.30 am, a woman, aged 44, said a male snatched her handphone and her bag containing RM20 and a watch. She said she tried to stop the man but was overpowered.
Losses was estimated to be RM1,500.
Meanwhile, a salesman from Bintawa lodged a report that his house was broken into on Wednesday and stolen were his television, speakers, laptop, digital camera and cash of RM2,000.
He said he was working and returned at 3 pm to find the house ransacked.
Burglars gained entry into the house through the tiolet window. Police are investigating all the cases.
