MUKAH: The cooperation of all parties is essential to ensure that development in any area progresses smoothly.
Tellian assemblyman Royston Valentine emphasised the importance of ensuring that development positively impacts the community.
“If a development brings about positive effects, then many parties will benefit — not just one.
“In Mukah, we are fortunate to have many advantages, particularly in tourism. Therefore, collaboration from all sectors is crucial to ensure the successful implementation of planned projects,” he said at the official launch of the Mukah Youth Entrepreneur Hub yesterday.
Royston further praised the establishment of the hub, calling it a commendable initiative by the Dalat and Mukah District Council (MDDM). The hub provides valuable opportunities for entrepreneurs to grow their businesses.
He noted that since Mukah is famous for its fresh seafood, traders and entrepreneurs should capitalise on this by developing attractive products that will draw in customers.
“Traders and entrepreneurs must think creatively to attract customers through appealing marketing strategies. Ensure you produce quality products and provide the best possible service to visitors. This will encourage people from outside Mukah to sample our local food, stimulating the local economy and benefiting both traders and entrepreneurs,” he said.
Royston also emphasised the importance of strengthening and maintaining cooperation among all stakeholders to ensure Mukah continues to enjoy the development it deserves.
“With collaboration, all initiatives can be carried out smoothly, bringing shared benefits, especially to the people of Mukah,” he added.
MDDM Secretary Abdul Razak Awang Bini was also present at the event.
