KUCHING: A tree fell and crashed on power lines during a storm at Jalan Jebong, Jambusan, Bau last Sunday afternoon.
Immediately after the incident, a resident in the area contacted Bau Fire and Rescue Services Department which dispatched a few personnel to the location at 4.15 pm.
Sesco and Civil Defence Force personnel were also at the location to assist.
By 6.30pm, the cutting and removal of the tree trunk and branches were completed while the electric cables were fixed and power in the area back to normal.
