KUCHING: The 1Malaysia People’s Housing Scheme (PR1MA) house buyers are encouraged to attend an open dialogue session on Saturday (Nov 23) at Hotel Grand Dormani Rajah Court, Pending.
The dialogue session will be attended by Federal Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin at 2pm.
Bandar Kuching MP Dr Kelvin Yii gave an open invitation to the people of Kuching yesterday when met by reporters at Kuching Sentral.
“At the beginning of 2019, PR1MA housing in Malaysia offered a 30 per cent rebate for all new buyers.
“The main reason for it is due to the increasing issue of unsolved houses across the country and not just Sarawak. Hence, PR1MA and the ministry offered such rebate for new buyers,” he said.
Yii welcomed all initiatives to reduce the cost of housing for new buyers.
He pointed out that earlier buyers had purchased PR1MA units at a slightly higher price.
