NANJING: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg tonight attended a welcoming dinner hosted by Petroleum Sarawak Bhd (PETROS) in conjunction with his working visit to China.
The engagement brought together senior PETROS representatives and Sarawak officials, marking the start of the Premier’s series of high-level meetings and engagements in Nanjing, Suzhou and Shanghai.
Following the dinner, the Premier was briefed by PETROS on key matters related to his itinerary and forthcoming engagements throughout the working visit.
Also present were Deputy Minister for Utility (Sarawak Energy and PETROS) Datuk Ibrahim Baki, PETROS Chairman Tan Sri Datuk Amar Hamid Bugo, Group Chief Executive Officer Datuk Janin Girie, Senior Vice-President for Growth Datuk Joseph Podtung, Senior Vice-President for Human Capital, Corporate Relations and Services Ismail Said, and Adviser for Climate Change, Energy and Sustainable Development at the Department of the Premier of Sarawak, Dr Angelia Liew San Chuin.
