BINTULU: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg attended the 87th Board Members’ Meeting of the Bintulu Development Authority (BDA) at Wisma Bintulu on Wednesday.
Abang Johari’s arrival at around 10:00 am was warmly welcomed by BDA’s staff.
Also present at the meeting were BDA’s Deputy Chairman, Datuk Haidar Khan Asghar Khan; Sarawak State Secretary, Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki; and Sarawak State Financial Secretary, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Lizozman Wan Omar.
Among those in attendance were the Director of Sarawak Land and Survey Department, Awang Zamhari Awang Mahmood; Bintulu Division Resident, Datuk Nyurak Keti,; the Director of Sarawak State Development Office, Jasni Jubli; and the Director of Sarawak Public Works Department (PWD), Dr Cassidy Morris.
During the meeting, which lasted about three hours, Abang Johari was briefed on the progress of several development projects in Bintulu.
