KUALA LUMPUR: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg attended the 2026 MADANI Government Retreat held here on Sunday.
The retreat was convened to align policies, facilitate discussions among federal and state leaders, and ensure state-level concerns were taken into account at the national level.
During the session, Abang Johari, who is also chairman of Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), raised issues involving matters of importance to Sarawak, particularly those with direct implications on the daily lives of the people.
He also shared Sarawak’s views during the discussions as part of ongoing efforts to ensure the state’s interests continued to be represented in national policy deliberations.
