KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar received a courtesy call from Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at Astana Negeri here, in conjunction with a Pre-Cabinet session.
According to a post on Wan Junaidi’s official Facebook page, the courtesy call today was held ahead of the Pre-Cabinet session, serving as an important platform for the Premier to directly brief him on current developments, including state administrative matters, for his consideration and views.
The nearly one-hour meeting reflected the strong commitment and close ties between the Astana institution and the executive branch of the government in driving development, ensuring stability, and advancing the progress of the state.
The Head of State prayed that Sarawak will continue to prosper under the leadership of the Premier, be administered well, and foster cooperation from all parties for the overall wellbeing and benefit of the people.
