KUCHING: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg paid a courtesy visit to the Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, in conjunction with the State’s Pre-Cabinet meeting session.
According to Wan Junaidi’s official Facebook post, the meeting was held at 10:00 am at the Astana Negeri Sarawak here today which served as a vital platform for the Premier to brief the Head of State on current administrative matters and to seek his insights and views.
The meeting, which lasted for nearly an hour, took place in a cordial and harmonious atmosphere, reflecting the close relationship between the Astana institution and the executive branch of government, as well as their shared commitment to ensuring the state’s stability and progress.
Wan Junaidi also expressed confidence that under the leadership of the Premier of Sarawak, the state will continue to be well-governed and foster cooperation among all parties for the overall wellbeing and benefit of the people.
