KUCHING: Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, paid a courtesy visit to Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, today ahead of the State Cabinet Meeting.
The routine pre-Cabinet session, held at the Office of the Head of State at 10:00 am, provided an avenue for the Premier to seek the Governor’s consent and brief him on key matters to be deliberated by the State Government.
During the meeting, which lasted nearly an hour, Abang Johari also presented updates on the latest developments surrounding the implementation of Sarawak’s strategic policies, socioeconomic development initiatives, and ongoing efforts to enhance the well-being of the people.
Wan Junaidi also shared his views on the state’s development direction while expressing confidence in the Sarawak Government’s continued efforts under the leadership of Abang Johari to drive Sarawak towards becoming a progressive and prosperous state.
