KUCHING: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg paid a courtesy call on the Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, at the Astana Negeri Sarawak here today.
The pre-cabinet session, held in line with the Sarawak Constitution, enabled the Premier to personally brief the Head of State on the latest developments in the state’s administration and affairs under the executive branch.
During the hour-long discussion, which took place in a cordial and cooperative atmosphere, Wan Junaidi expressed full confidence that Sarawak would continue to be well-managed under Abang Johari’s leadership for the well-being of its people.
The meeting also served to further strengthen the close ties between the Astana institution and the state government, reflecting their shared commitment to ensuring Sarawak’s continued stability and progress.
