Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg has presented several key matters concerning Sarawak’s administration to Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar during an official courtesy visit at the Astana Negeri Sarawak.
The nearly one-hour meeting today (June 19) was held as a Pre-Council session ahead of the State Government Cabinet Meeting, in line with the provisions of the Sarawak Constitution which requires the Premier to brief the Head of State on matters concerning the administration of the state.
During the session, Wan Junaidi also shared his insights and views for the Premier’s consideration in charting Sarawak’s development.
Wan Junaidi expressed appreciation for the fruitful discussion, noting that it was held in a warm and cordial atmosphere.
He also conveyed confidence that under the Premier’s leadership, Sarawak will continue to progress as a united, peaceful, and prosperous state in line with the vision of Sarawak Maju Makmur.
