SIBU: The Rimbunan Hijau (RH) Group has carried the Sarawak spirit onto the global stage, showcasing the quality, innovation and determination that define the state.
Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg highlighted that the RH Group has become an ambassador for the nation, building bridges and forging partnerships that bring pride to Sarawak and Malaysia.
He also noted that the group’s contributions extend beyond economic prosperity.
“RH has consistently been a valuable partner in achieving the government’s policy objectives, demonstrating a deep understanding of our national aspirations and a willingness to contribute to our collective progress.
“Your commitment to social sustainability and community development is truly commendable,” he said.
His text of was read by Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian, during the launch of Menara Rimbunan’s new façade and interior renovations at the RH Building here today.
Commenting on the programme, Abang Johari remarked that the project is not merely the commencement of a construction initiative; it represents the laying of a foundation for an even brighter future for RH Group and for Sarawak.
“We extend our heartfelt best wishes for a smooth and successful renovation process, and look forward to witnessing the Group’s continued ascent to even greater heights.
“This event symbolises more than a structural transformation; it stands as a powerful testament to RH Group’s ongoing commitment to innovation, progress and excellence in both business and nation-building,” he added.
He also noted that for decades, Rimbunan Hijau has been a cornerstone of the state’s economy, a testament to the vision and dedication of its founders and the hard work of its employees.
“Rooted deeply in Sarawak soil, RH Group has blossomed, creating countless opportunities for our people and empowering families across the nation.
“You have not only built a successful enterprise but have also built livelihoods and futures for so many,” he stressed.
