KUCHING: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg remains attentive and supportive of Bumiputera entrepreneurs in Sarawak, says Sarawak Bumiputera Entrepreneurs Chamber (DUBS) President, Datuk Abang Halmi Ikhwan.
He said the Premier has consistently shown concern for the Bumiputera business community and played a key role in supporting their growth through various initiatives and government assistance.
“The Premier has helped us in many ways. The government has also channelled significant support, especially in training programmes for aspiring entrepreneurs,” he said.
Abang Halmi told the media this after leading a DUBS delegation for a courtesy visit to Abang Johari at Wisma Bapa Malaysia today.
He said the visit was held to update the Premier on the progress of projects and equipment funded by the Sarawak Government.
The delegation also informed the Premier about the development of the new DUBS building along Jalan Ong Tiang Swee here.
