KUCHING: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg has expressed his support to the initiatives put forward by the Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers’ Association (SHEDA) to advance the state’s housing industry.

During a courtesy visit by SHEDA at Wisma Bapa Malaysia today, Abang Johari assured that the government would take proactive steps to address industrial challenges faced by the association.
SHEDA president Augustine Wong Chung Ho told the media that the visit was to update the Premier on the association’s developments, and seek advice on achieving its objectives and goals in the housing sector growth.
Additionally, SHEDA raised several industry-related concerns during the discussion.
Also present during the courtesy visit was Deputy Premier and Minister for Public Health, Housing and Local Government, Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian.
