KUCHING: The Sarawak Centre of Performance Excellence Sdn Bhd (SCOPE) will host the Public Sector Financial Transformation Conference 2025 on Aug 6 at Imperial Hotel, Kuching.
SCOPE will host it together with the State Treasury Department, Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM) and Salihin Academy.
Themed ‘Strengthening Public Finance For a Sustainable Future’, it is a one-day high impact conference that will gather senior government officials, public finance professionals and industry experts to explore critical shifts in public sector finance, including digital transformation, sustainable finance and ESG integration.
The conference is designed to promote strategic alignment with Sarawak’s Post Covid Development Strategy (PCDS2030) and aims to enhance accountability, financial resilience and policy innovation.
Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg will launch the conference.
The welcome address will be from the Sarawak Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki followed by plenary sessions, and a forum.
The conference is expected to attract over 300 delegates from the ministries, statutory bodies, local authorities, GLCs, and financial institutions across Sarawak and Malaysia.
