MIRI: Kuching City FC-Miri continued their strong start in the President’s Cup 2025 with a 2-0 win over Penang FC II at the KRP Football Field, Lutong, on Wednesday.

Under the scorching sun, the home side delivered a confident and composed first-half display.

The weather did not deter them from putting out an impressive performance.

Rising star, Amirul Hafiz, opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a screamer from outside the box, a stunning finish that lifted the crowd.

Amran Shah doubled the lead in the 40th minute with a well-taken free-kick, capping a dominant first-half performance that put Kuching City FC-Miri firmly in control.

The result marked their second win in three matches under head coach, Mohamad Hakimi Man.

Kuching City FC-Miri will next face AMD U-17 at the same venue on May 15.

Kuching City FC-Miri’s young guns are turning heads with confident displays and growing belief in the President’s Cup campaign.
