KUCHING: Brunei’s Prince Abdul Mateen, 34, and his wife Princess Anisha Rosnah, 30, are set to welcome their first child.
The royal couple shared the happy news on Instagram recently, with Prince Mateen posting a black-and-white photo of them in matching white outfits, captioned, “And then there were 3 ??.”
The photo shows Princess Anisha with a baby bump, warmly embraced by the public as the couple’s first public confirmation of the pregnancy.
The announcement has since drawn waves of congratulations from fans and celebrities alike.
Among them was Malaysia-born actor, Henry Golding, who left a heartfelt “Congrats you two” in the comments.
Prince Mateen and Princess Anisha tied the knot in a lavish 10-day royal wedding in January 2024, a celebration that drew international attention for its grandeur.
Since then, they have largely kept their private life away from the spotlight, making this announcement especially meaningful for well-wishers at home and abroad.
