SIBU: Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin met with Katibas assemblyman Lidam Assan to discuss a proposal to set up a bus station in the riverine town of Song.

They also brainstormed on riverine transportation facilities there. The Sarawak Minister for Transport listened to feedback from community heads and the public on Tuesday (May 10).

At the same time, Lee visited the existing express boat terminal to look into a proposal to change its usage.

The terminal is no longer in use following the completion of the road from Sibu to Kapit.

Besides Song, Lee visited Sibu and Kapit.
