BINTANGOR: A total of 43 parent-teacher associations (PTAs) and school management boards here have received allocations totalling RM202,500 under the Minor Rural Project (MRP) grant.

The grant handover ceremony was officiated by Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability, Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii, here yesterday.

Huang said that the grant distribution reflects the government’s ongoing commitment to collaborating with non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in fostering community and national development.

“All applications can be submitted through my service centre, and I am ready to assist.

“I would like to extend my gratitude to the schools, including PTA, headmasters and teachers, for their cooperation and support,” he said.

He also expressed hope that the funds would be used effectively, particularly to enhance learning facilities and improve student welfare.
