KUCHING: Pustaka Negeri Sarawak will be hosting the Sarawakiana Festival, themed “Traditional Sarawak Embroidery and Weaving Arts.”
This theme has been chosen to showcase the uniqueness of Sarawak’s cultural and artistic heritage, history, customs, and traditions through various planned activities and programmes, including exhibitions, workshops, lectures, the sale of handicrafts, as well as local cuisine, and more.
“The information and knowledge gained from organising this festival will be documented to ensure that these practices are preserved for future generations,” it said in a statement.
