THE daughter of famous entrepreneur, Datuk Aliff Syukri, whose name is Qadejah Aliff Syukri jokingly said that her Raya song release entitled ‘Raya Gen Z’, is groovier compared to her dad’s song titled ‘Raya Ya Ya’.
Qadejah said she did not feel challenged when her father reacted to launch his festive song on the same day as hers. She even described it as a healthy competition.
“My Raya song and my father’s Raya song were completed on the same day. During family dinner, my dad and I exchanged glances and asked each other about our respective Eid songs.
“My dad and I share our respective Raya songs, but I think my song is better.
I don’t understand the Raya song performed by him.
“In fact, I do feel challenged by his actions, but it’s okay because competition is a good thing as it helps to improve oneself.
Meanwhile, Qadejah jokingly mentioned that the presence of singer Iman Troye helped a lot in making the song more pleasant.
She shared this with OhBulan!
media when met during a press conference for the launch of her ‘Gen Z Raya’ song held at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur recently.
The festive ‘Raya Gen Z’ song is performed together with three other singers, namely, Ara Aziz, Alyssa Dezek and Cik B.
When asked about the negative criticism she received, the influencer considered it as a lesson for her to become better.
“Any kind of challenge is actually a good thing. It will make us stronger and better in our future endeavours.
I will try to improve myself with every criticism I received,” she added.
