ASAJAYA: Eight teams will clash this Saturday (Apr 4) in the quarterfinals of the Kampung Sambir Veteran Invitational Football Tournament 2026.
The teams are Kabitra, GBO Otai, Vettam, Boca Legend, Komeng 6000, Brother Mix FT, Moyan Laut and Boxer 3XL.
Tournament chairman, Jalek Jaafar, said all matches will be played in the morning as early as 8 am.
“Moyan Laut will face GBO Otai (8 am), Vettam will take on Brother Mix FT, Komeng 6000 will meet Boca Legend, while Kabitra will play Boxer 3XL”, he said.
The matches are expected to be closely contested as teams aim to secure a place in the semi-finals.
“We expect the quarterfinals to be competitive as the teams are made up of experienced players,” Jalek added.
Winners of the tournament will receive RM1,500 along with a trophy and medals, while the runners-up will take home RM1,000.
Both losing semi-finalists will receive RM500 each, along with trophies and medals.
