SIBU: In conjunction with the celebration of World #QuranHour 2026, Pustaka Negeri Sarawak (PNS) Sibu will organise the Quran Calligraphy Art Competition at Sarikei Public Library next Tuesday, Mar 10, from 9 am to 12 noon.

The event is organised in conjunction with World #QuranHour which is celebrated on 21 Ramadan 1447H corresponding to Mar 11, 2026, with the theme ‘A Kind & Caring World’ and carries the message of Surah Al-Muzzammil as the chosen surah this year.

A press release from PNS Sibu on Thursday stated that the competition aims to instil love for the Quran through calligraphy as well as encourage community involvement in spiritual and Islamic arts activities throughout the month of Ramadan.
