KOTA SAMARAHAN: Police have arrested a local man who went on a violent outburst inside his home at Kampung Merdang Limau here, bringing a volatile situation under control before anyone was hurt.
The arrest was made after the district police operations centre received information regarding the suspect’s aggressive behaviour at the residence last Friday (Dec 26).
Kota Samarahan police chief Supt Damataries Lautin said a mobile patrol vehicle (MPV) team was immediately dispatched to the scene, where officers managed to detain the man using minimal force.
A knife and a pair of scissors were seized during the arrest.
The suspect, together with the seized items, was later taken to police station for further actions.
The circumstances leading to the incident were not disclosed.
