KUCHING: The Katimas Group, which prides itself in bringing positive impact to the community, completed a three-year Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme here on Saturday.

Randau Kasih 3.0 aimed at strengthening community well-being through knowledge-sharing, emotional support, and inclusive outreach.

The third edition of the programme built on the momentum of ‘Randau Kasih’ 1.0 and 2.0.

It featured a soup kitchen, a workplace well-being session titled ‘Kesejahteraan Minda di Tempat Kerja bersama KKM’, a youth development segment ‘Lepas SPM, Then What?’, and a dedicated storytelling session for children.

A total of 100 participants attended the workshops and storytelling activities, while 200 food packages were prepared and distributed.

Meals prepared by the soup kitchen were shared with participants and children at the event and later delivered to the Kuching Community Social Support Centre (CSSC), extending the initiative’s reach to families and individuals in need.

Katimas Group’s Managing Director, Datuk Franco Lee, said the completion of the three-year initiative reflects the organisation’s long-term commitment to nurturing resilient and connected communities.

“‘Randau Kasih’ has always been about listening, learning and lifting others. Seeing how far the community has grown alongside us is both humbling and inspiring.

“This journey reminds us that meaningful impact happens one conversation, one meal and one shared moment at a time,” he said.

Since its inception in 2024, the complete ‘Randau Kasih’ series has reached and empowered more than 200 participants through workshops and storytelling activities, while distributing over 500 food packages to vulnerable individuals and families.
