LIMBANG: The construction project of the Ranggau Riverbank here worth RM20 million is expected to be completed by May 2026.

Limbang District Council chairman Sufian Mohat said the commencement date is May 2, 2024, until May 1, 2026, with a total implementation period of two years or 24 months.

“The length of this riverbank is 250 metres and its location is facing the Integrated Administration Centre (IAC) building here.

“This project is primarily aimed at recreation and also providing facilities for Limbang residents to relax and engage in activities because we will be providing gazebos, a mini amphitheatre, and more,” he said.

He said this during the Handover Ceremony of the Ranggau Riverbank Construction Project to the Contractor at the Limbang District Council Meeting Room on Thursday (May 2).

Sufian also expressed hopes for the contractor’s commitment to implementing the project and expects the team to execute it efficiently on behalf of Limbang residents.

Earlier, Sufian and Limbang District Officer Sulaiman Engal witnessed Limbang District Council secretary Petrick Linggie Taboh handing over the project to Faltech Engineering Sdn Bhd.
