KUCHING: The Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRC) Stampin Branch, in collaboration with the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) Blood Bank, will hold a blood donation campaign this Saturday at the hospital’s blood bank.

The campaign, to run from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm aims to encourage the public to give the gift of life through blood donation and ensure adequate blood supply for patients in need, reminding donors that every contribution – big or small – can save lives.

Organisers are inviting both regular and first-time donors to participate in this lifesaving cause and experience the fulfilment of giving back to the community.

Successful donors will receive complimentary goodie bags as a token of appreciation for their generosity.

MRC Stampin Branch, in a statement, said the campaign embodies compassion and community spirit.

“This initiative is about compassion and community. Every drop donated has the power to make a real difference,” it said.

The campaign also reflects the ongoing partnership between MRC and SGH Blood Bank in promoting health awareness and public service through voluntary blood donation.

For more information, members of the public can contact Wendy at 019-8182244 for further assistance.
