KOTA KINABALU: The Kota Kinabalu City Hall (DBKK) should review its procedures from time to time to reduce bureaucracy, says mayor Datuk Nordin Seman.
According to him, it is important for DBKK to be committed to the expectations and feedback of its clients.
He said the expectations of the local community should be met and every complaint should be attended to immediately or at least the complainant should be informed of the problem raised.
“Therefore, the effectiveness of the organisation should be at its maximum level and it should ensure there is no wastage or mistakes,” he said in a flag-raising ceremony in conjunction with the 19th Anniversary of Kota Kinabalu City Hall here today.
In this regard, Nordin said Kota Kinabalu had undergone tremendous changes in term of economic and infrastructure development as well as cleanliness since 19 years ago.
He said these aspects should continue to be given attention especially in improving infrastructure and economic opportunities for the well-being of residents in the city.
Nordin is confident this could be achieved via a corporate culture of being fast, innovative, efficient and effective towards attaining excellence at DBKK. – Bernama
